I’m on OnlyFans and I’m Empowered By It

Trisha Maie Apa-ap gives the low-down on being on OnlyFans and how it lets her have control of her body and sexuality.

Have you ever told a friend you were broke and they replied with one word? And that word was “OnlyFans”. For those of you who don’t know what that is or if you’ve heard of it and don’t know where to start, then this video is definitely for you.

At the start of the year, Trishia Mae Apa-ap joked to her friends that her Ne Year’s Resolution was to become a really rich person through OnlyFans. Fast forward six months later, she’s been raking up extra passive income from clients who subscribe to her OnlyFans account.

But for Trish, having an OnlyFans account isn’t just about selling nudes for money. It’s about empowerment. It’s taking away the power that the patriarchy has over this particular industry and giving it back to women and sex workers.

“If I’m a woman and I’m capitalizing on you objectifying me, that doesn’t necessarily make me any less of a woman. It just makes me empowered to do what you’re already doing.”

Sex workers have different reasons for being in the sex industry. Whether they do it for money, pleasure, self-expression, or empowerment, they shouldn’t be judged for having the choice over what to do with their own bodies.

So if you want to fight the stigma along with Trish while knowing how to navigate your own OnlyFans, check out the video:
