Soul sisters.
Someone who isn’t related to you, but you connect on a deeper level. You share a unique bond of friendship. You don’t necessarily always have the same interests, but your values, attitude, and principles are aligned and your souls just connect. I don’t know how I will be able to express it enough in words, but once you meet your soulmate, you will know.
Meet my soul sister, Mavic. She’s an architect who recently passed the Architectural Board Exam and almost topped it! We met in 2018 at a fashion design graduation fashion show. We both represented women with scoliosis for Benese Lapiña’s thesis. The bond since then became deeper. What started as #scoliosister has evolved to becoming #soulsister.
She’s as strong as me—she went through a lot as well. She’s become this ever-blossoming flower. She gets better and better as a woman or as a person every year and I am so proud of her.
We share a strong bond. A friendship that is comfortable and so authentic that we can be our true selves without judgment. A friendship that shares love and strength. It’s magic.
One of the things we share is we both love fashion and styling. So in this feature, we hope to inspire you to match with your besties or sisters too! Yoga Bonding

Conversations Over Coffee (or Matcha, Chocolate, or Tea)
Mavic and I love sharing conversations over coffee at Abaca. This place is a bit special to us. There were many times we’d still stay even after closing hours, non-stop talking.
