The country’s biggest, brightest, and boldest gathering of digital content creators is coming back for a fifth time on November 5th. BaiCon InFest gathers the Philippines’ best and up-and-coming content creators for an entire day of entertainment, fan meet-and-greets, and dance raves. One ticket grants access to a 10-hour event with all of the above, and musical performances by Mandaue Nights, Kurt Fick, 13C, Cebu Drag Artists Community, Victor Jao, and other crowd favorites.
BaiCon InFest is a digital empowerment event organized by the Republiq Group of Companies (RGC), VisMin’s largest digital agency, in partnership with the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP), which aims to elevate the standards of content creation and influencer marketing in the Philippines.
“With CICP and BaiCon, we inspire, teach, and learn from each other,” said CICP Executive Director Jako de Leon.
This will be the first time in two years that BaiCon is bringing creators and fans back together again, and it’s going to be awesome with a Back to School theme that celebrates all the things we were excited about when we went back to school: the acquaintance party, the org fair, and prom night.
It’s Back to School since BaiCon also aims to educate. There will be segments where some of the content creators will talk about their journeys and share what they’ve learned along the way. It’s a unique chance for fans and aspiring content creators to meet and learn from their favorite personalities.
“We have to keep up with rapidly changing standards by constantly educating content creators,” said Bea Evardone, BaiCon InFest Creative and Production Lead during the pre-event press conference held at Yello Hotel.
“The term is not even ‘influencers’ anymore,” added CICP President Jim Guzman. “If you consider yourself an influencer and not a content creator, eh huli ka na. BaiCon presents a very unique opportunity to meet and learn from your favorite content creators.”
The event is expected to bring in more than 100 creators from all over the Philippines and some parts of the world. The CICP Spotlight Awards, the first-ever award-giving body for creators and influencers, will cap off the BaiCon weekend with a prom-inspired party. The Spotlight Awards aim to recognize them and their best efforts towards creating a healthy ecosystem for the content creation industry in the country. It is composed of three major categories: Platform Superstars, Premium Awards, and Category Champions.
