If not, I, your fairy “summer” godmother, was tasked to help you find the best swimwear you can find to get you ready for the ball… er, for the beach I mean. I’ve rounded up a list of eight homegrown and retail swimwear brands in Cebu below at your disposal, including some of my favorites of course.

Handcrafted By Mae
Crochet junkies, this is for you. Handcrafted by Mae is a local brand specializing in crocheted swimwear and accessories. If you want to get that boho look in playful patterns and bright colors this summer, I strongly suggest you check these local handmade pieces.

Sunny Side Fashion
During those days when online shopping was not yet the mainstream market, Sunny Side Fashion was one of my go-to local shops whenever I look for summer outfits and swimmies, and it still is today. Aside from their beautiful tropical dresses you see on their Instagram page, they also have a great selection of trendy swimsuits all on display at the Paseo Verde, 2nd level of Ayala Center Cebu.

Kini Swim
From city to coast, Kini Swim is a local brand that creates made-to-order bikinis. Since it started, Kini Swim has already released five swimwear collections: The Modern Babe, So Chic! Collection, Skins, White Party, and the Backyard Diaries. They also have a fitness and lifestyle wear brand called Flō by KINI.

Oceanholics Cebu
Oceanholics Cebu is a shopping and retail brand offering aesthetically sourced swimwear in retail and wholesale. Since they are swimwear suppliers, most of their stocks are on a pre-order basis but you can also check their Instagram account for available items. Daily Grind Cebu
Daily Grind Cebu is another local retail brand committed to satisfying your leisurely indulgences this summer. Launched last year, Daily Grind Cebu started with speed ropes, then diversified with onesies and bikinis. Daily Grind Cebu has the most beautiful ribbed bikinis, and they have pretty printed pieces too.

G.Bikini
G.Bikini Beach Essentials is another clothing brand in Cebu selling premium bikinis with their items on hand. As part of their social responsibility, G.Bikini has pledged a part of their profit to the conservation projects of their partner brand, Cebu Eco Fix, which also helps in the campaigns of an environmental organization against plastic pollution in Cebu City called Cleanup Cebu.
