Held last July 25, 2023, Global Star Motors, the official retailer of Mercedes-Benz cars in the Visayas and Mindanao, celebrated their anniversary encompassing eight successful years in Cebu. This milestone also juxtaposes the premium car experience of customers with a good cup of coffee with the launch of AMG Café by Steer & Stir, which serves as the showroom’s new in-house coffee shop.
The brainchild of third-year entrepreneurship student Michael Jhaye “MJ” Jordan and his mom Ritchell Selma Jordan, AMG Café is Steer & Stir’s second branch in Cebu.
The café deals with more than what people might infer from its name—car aficionados and sports enthusiasts. “Steer does not just mean about cars, but more of how life steers you,” MJ explains his vision and theme behind the venture. He further highlights the advocacy he shares with his mother—also the General Manager of Global Star Motors—on employment sustainability and helping people find their career niche—just as a driver sends his passenger to their anticipated destination.
Steer & Stir’s rich menu offers an enticing variety of flavors, from the perfect blend of their Champ Latte to the aromatic, earthy taste of their Matcha Breakout—thoroughly crafted to cater to every taste preference. Baristas trained in the art of coffee making ensure that each cup is a masterpiece, just like the feats of engineering and the discipline behind every athlete. Their products are sourced both locally and internationally, carefully hand-picked to bring a unique, distinguished quality to the table. They offer delightful pastries, too!
