Empowered by Bayhana is a passion project by content creator Issa Perez-Gandionco who is popularly known for her Bai TV show Bayhana that centers around women’s education, information and entertainment.
Through her merchandise, she aims to spread social awareness and inspire women to wear their empowerment while also taking part in enriching the lives of other women. With every release of Empowered by Bayhana products, a portion of the proceeds will go to a women- and children-centered organization.
The first collection is the Empowered line, which highlights the brand’s logo and signature bright colors on a cotton t-shirt (Php 499) and a mini tote bag (Php 299). Both products are bright, breezy, and sure to catch attention and spread the message of empowerment.
This collection, which runs from April-July 2021, will be supporting My Refuge House, an organization aimed towards healing and restoring the lives of survivors impacted by commercial sexual exploitation.
Issa is also a regular contributor for g.spot, a podcaster, and a gaming creator.
